Elk Glen Picnic Area

Sheltered under a huge and varied grove, the grounds feature four picnic tables clustered in two pairs—one in the middle of the meadow near two grills, and the other along the western walking path border. The lawn offers space for lawn games like kickball and volleyball, and visitors can bring beer and wine (though kegs and liquor are prohibited); inflatable jumpers are also allowed with an additional permit. An active coyote warning is in place for the picnic area.
