Description

Named for a former Downtown Alliance president, the plaza works well as a sidewalk shortcut or a temporary perch to read in the sun. Recent renovations have brought fresh pavement and tidy flower beds, though the space is frequently surrounded by construction. It remains a place of strict limits—visitors cannot walk on the grass—and it has lost its former life as a skateboarder hub following the removal of an infamous metal bench that once starred in local skate films.
