Description

The park is split into northern and southern sections alongside the dedicated Elizabeth Conkey Woods Nature Preserve. Seasonal birders trace Tinley Creek for migrating winter wrens, vireos, and tanagers, while belted kingfishers nest directly into the creek banks during spring and early summer. For larger gatherings, the grounds provide designated picnic groves with capacities up to 300 people.
