Description

Elena and Theo Butuyan opened the spot in 1974 after immigrating from Dagupan City, starting out behind a six-stool counter. The menu centers on original family recipes with local-style twists, turning out staples like savory Sari-Sari soup and the crispy Lechon Special, which later landed the Waipahu kitchen on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
