Description

The Rosecrans Avenue location dates to 1969, when Moises and Celia put their home savings into a tiny restaurant after eloping in Michoacán. Despite being told it was a bad idea, they launched with little more than a grill and a counter, focused from the start on serving filling, homemade Mexican meals at a reasonable price. That original Manhattan Beach spot still stands today, remaining under family ownership.
