El Pavo Bakery

Recognized as one of Los Angeles's largest panaderías, El Pavo entered its current era in the early 2000s when two former employees—a cashier and a truck driver—acquired the bakery, which is now run by their children and family. Cases are stocked with an expansive selection of pan dulce alongside specialty cakes, and select locations stretch beyond baking into traditional dishes including tamales, tacos, and burritos accompanied by aguas frescas.
