ʻEhukai Pillbox Trail

Also known as the Sunset Pillbox Hike, the route starts near Sunset Beach Elementary School and ascends through lush forest terrain to reach the ridge's concrete military bunkers. From the top, the vantage takes in panoramic views of Waimea Bay and the dramatic Pacific coastline alongside the Banzai Pipeline. Trail conditions can be potentially slippery, especially after rain.
