Founder Edward Youkilis, formerly a part-owner of SoHo's Lucky Strike, opened the restaurant in 2001. Though the space is intimate in scale, it operates with the pacing and output of a much larger establishment, keeping service fast for casual staples like chili. During the spring and summer, the dining area expands outdoors with a seasonal sidewalk cafe.
