Description
The centerpiece of the facility is the Ruth Rea Howell Vegetable Garden, which comprises the Green Thumb, Global, and Children's Gardening Program gardens. Guided by educators, the daily activities offer food education in urban New York. Programs run throughout the year, featuring tasks like watering vegetables and measuring cheese during cooking classes. Visitors can also sample food grown directly in the garden.
