Sip craft beers and house cocktails in an East Village craft beer tavern with original murals and rock tunes.
🍺 Murals and Classic Jukebox Tunes
An East Village craft beer tavern with deep neighborhood roots, 12th Street Ale House pairs original Antony Zito murals with craft brews and classic tunes. Village bar veterans Rob Gelardi and P Moss re-established the corner spot in 2019, carrying forward a long tavern history from its earlier years as Slugger Ann's. Straightforward service and fair prices define the room at 192 2nd Ave, where bartenders mix rum Old Fashioneds with habanero bitters alongside house Bloody Marys.
Patrons drop coins into the classic jukebox for rock, blues, and jazz legends while enjoying a daily happy hour until 8 PM on pints, wine, and well drinks. Those drink specials continue through the weekend, giving this East Village dive bar an easy neighborhood pull.
Regular operating hours run Monday through Saturday from 5 PM to 4 AM, and doors open at 1 PM on Sundays during football season. Entry is 21 and over at this low-key gathering spot.
