🌱 Plots And Programs
This East Los Angeles community garden brings neighbors together around fresh produce and holistic arts. El Sereno Community Garden occupies a peaceful sanctuary on Huntington Drive South, where staff and volunteers greet newcomers at the entrance.
Visitors wander past rows of vegetables and seasonal California flowers that bloom during spring. Dedicated volunteers maintain the outdoor grounds, offering informal tours and explaining how hands-on garden shifts welcome community helpers throughout the week. Anyone interested in planting herbs or tending raised beds can lend a hand alongside the neighborhood team.
Workshops focused on creative arts and nature connection anchor the calendar alongside open soil agriculture. The open green space provides a calm retreat along a busy corridor, giving residents an opportunity to practice organic cultivation and participate directly in local stewardship.
