East Brother Light Station

Perched in the strait separating San Francisco and San Pablo bays, the outpost welcomes visitors ashore with champagne and hors d'oeuvres before settling into island time. Accommodations include five rooms styled with nautical decor, ranging from second-floor lookouts over tides and sealife to quarters in the foghorn building beside vintage machinery.

The main house provides shared lounges and a game room alongside open access to the lighthouse itself. Stays carry through to the next morning with a full breakfast following the evening's wine-paired courses.
