Dreams of a City: Creating East Palo Alto

Artist Kameelah Janan Rasheed presents a screening of the 1996 documentary Dreams of a City alongside her installation in Vox Populi's exhibition. The programme centers on Rasheed's evolving spatial diagram, Study: East Palo Alto, which examines Nairobi College and the Black experimental schooling system of East Palo Alto within a larger inquiry into collective process, artistic labor, and the politics of working together.
