Description

Drake Park began in 1904 as a 1.86-acre passive park called Knoll Park before a 1972 expansion grew the grounds to 6.6 acres between 9th and 10th Streets. The property supports a wide range of athletic activities, featuring courts for basketball, tennis, volleyball, and handball/racquetball alongside a soccer field, playground, and picnic area. Its renovated community center runs after-school care, youth sports, and recreation classes, with the historic Bembridge House bordering the northeast edge.
