🕯️ Limited Run: Merchant's House Ghost Tours

On six nights, October 16 and 17, 23 and 24, and 29 and 30, the Merchant's House Museum in NoHo runs Candlelight Ghost Tours every half hour from 6:30 to 9:00 PM, then SUPER SPOOKY Ghost Tours from 9:30 PM, through four floors of period rooms in an 1832 home. Enter via Manuel Plaza at 35 East Fourth Street during restoration. On October 23 or 30, pair a tour with a drink at The Haunting or Paradise Lost.

🎃 Seasonal Bar: The Haunting on 9th Street

The Miracle and Sippin' Santa team has turned The Cabinet Mezcal Bar at 649 East Ninth Street into The Haunting, a camp-style Halloween cocktail bar open through Monday, November 2, for guests 21 and over. It opens at 4:00 PM Monday to Thursday, 2:00 PM on Friday and 1:00 PM on weekends. Resy bookings from October 15 carry a non-refundable $3.75 fee that does not count toward the bill.

🌴 Year-Round Bar: Paradise Lost

Paradise Lost at 100 Second Avenue is a year-round psychobilly tiki bar with ghoulish decor on nearly every wall and a menu that rates drinks from one to five skulls. There is no storefront and no reservations, seating is walk-in only, and entry is strictly 21 and over. It sits a few blocks from the Merchant's House, which makes it the easiest drink after a ghost tour.

🧛 Halloween Only: Hammer Horror at Metrograph

Metrograph at 7 Ludlow Street is screening Terence Fisher's Hammer horror. On Saturday, October 31, The Curse of Frankenstein plays in 4K at 2:00 PM, Horror of Dracula on 35mm at 4:00 PM and The Brides of Dracula on 35mm at 5:50 PM. Seats are reserved, and buying online ahead is recommended. The last film lets out around 7:15 PM, in time for a drink at either bar.
