Downtown LA Evening: Mermaid Bar to Death & Co
Four separate Downtown LA stops pair The Mermaid's aquatic decor with Angels Flight Railway, the 6th Street Viaduct's illuminated ribbon arches, and Death & Co Los Angeles's Art Deco Marquee Bar. Angels Flight and the viaduct close at 10 PM.

At 428 E 2nd St in Little Tokyo, The Mermaid places 50 seats inside a Honda Plaza strip mall with palm wallpaper, dangling seaweed, and screens looping mermaid footage. The themed drinks include The Spritz, and the bar opens daily from 6 PM to 1:40 AM, with happy hour until 8 PM. Monthly donations support a different charity or nonprofit.
