4.6 (693)museum
Around $0.00
Peek into San Francisco Bay’s underwater world through an 800-gallon aquarium and hands-on exhibits of mudflat life.
Description

Interactive stations set up for varying age groups examine the bay's smaller details. Visitors can view microscopic animals, build a crab from the inside out, and take in a lug worm's view of the mudflats. Exhibits also offer a way to plunge into San Francisco Bay without getting wet, alongside displays covering Alameda's past.
First opened on July 4, 1980, the facility was renamed in 2022 to honor former Park District Board Director Doug Siden.
