Description

Ranchland and rocky slopes wrap around a landscape of chaparral, open grassland, and groves of coast live and Engelmann oaks. The grounds balance horseshoe pits, soccer fields, and a covered pavilion with active wildlife territory, where coyotes, foxes, and early morning California quail roam. Overhead, red-shouldered hawks and woodpeckers give way at dusk to the calls of resident barn, screech, and great horned owls. Stays range from simple tent pitches to partial hook-up sites and ADA-accessible cabins.
