Description

Completed in 1960 and named after longtime university trustee R.E. Dorough, the facility features a stormy petrel sculpture by artist Duane Hanson mounted on the outside of the building. Inside, the playing surface was refinished in 2015 with a triple-stained black finish and the Stormy Petrels athletics logo at center court. Named in honor of coach Garland Pinholster, the floor hosts Oglethorpe's men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball teams.
