Founded in 2006 by Josh Levine, a founding member of the Gilman Street punk venue, Donut Farm operates on Adeline along the Berkeley–Oakland line. The daily selection centers on scratch-made cake donuts in rotating profiles like whiskey tangerine fig, while weekends add vegan yeast-raised varieties—one of the few spots to find them. Weekend brunch rounds out the menu with savory fare like shiitake-thyme gravy donuts and tofu scrambles.
