Donovan (George) Park

Bridgeport’s 3.54-acre park centers on a small field house and outdoor athletic grounds, keeping up momentum well beyond peak summer. While warm months draw baseball leagues and day camp, the park sustains year-round programs spanning yoga, dodgeball, conditioning, and adult fitness alongside youth athletics. Families gather for dedicated early-childhood sessions like Tot Spot and Storytime, while outdoor recreation extends across basketball courts, an athletic field, and a playground refreshed under the Chicago Plays! initiative.
