Donaldson-Bannister Farm
4.8 (103)attraction
An 1870s farmstead turned public park, where a storied two-story farmhouse anchors landscaped community grounds.
Description

Built by Civil War veteran William James Donaldson, the residence shifted over time into a Plantation Plain-turned-Colonial Revival farmhouse. Longtime Dunwoody residents still recall when animals occupied the surrounding pastures. Today, the grounds serve as a setting for community events, while the farmhouse opens for private occasions such as weddings, anniversaries, and corporate meetings.
