4.8 (23)museum
Once a traveling exhibit, this Redwood City museum traces Black history from slavery to inventions, music, and sports.
Description

Founded by Carolyn Hoskins to educate children, the museum now occupies a permanent 22,000-square-foot home in downtown Redwood City. Its exhibits bring together historical artifacts, art, and memorabilia dedicated to showcasing the contributions of African Americans, with displays that address segregation alongside the wider historical record.
