Description

Operated by the National Audubon Society, the preserve spans hundreds of acres of hardwood forest along the White Rock Escarpment. A network of hiking trails winds through the landscape, setting up routes for bird watching and wildlife viewing among native plants. Come spring, the canyon's namesake flowering dogwoods bloom brilliantly. A 6,000-square-foot center also provides dedicated space for events and retreats, including the Trout Lily meeting room and Cedar Elm classroom.
