Dog Park at Dewey Local Park

The dog park spans 22,000 square feet inside Dewey Local Park, which underwent a broad renovation in 2020. Beyond the dog runs, the 14.5-acre grounds connect with roughly 1,400 linear feet of the Rock Creek Trail and feature public art murals alongside plantings from Montgomery Parks' Pope Farm Nursery. The surrounding park campus also includes a picnic shelter, an outdoor fitness station, a playground with a perimeter “Trike Track,” and a street hockey and futsal facility developed in partnership with the Washington Capitals.
