🎪 One Hall, Six Hours
🪔 What Saturday Looks Like
Seattle Center Festál runs 25 free cultural festivals through the year, and Diwali is the one that turns the Armory into a room of families in their best clothes. Saturday brings eight stage sets, a flower mandala on the floor, and a free vegetarian meal that Northwest Share serves to every guest. Doors open at noon and the festival is free and open to the public until 6:00 PM.
🐄 Calves on the Balcony
The Vedic Cultural Center runs hands-on activities and a roti-making demo on the Armory floor, where you watch dough rolled and cooked. The free vegetarian meal is a separate offering from Northwest Share, served a few tables away, and every attendee gets a plate. This year Goloka Farm brings calves from its herd up to the balcony for cuddling, with the visual arts gallery behind them. Loft 3 holds Subathra Santhanam's kolam, and the PanchariZ drum ensemble takes the stage at 4:20 PM.
🚝 Two Minutes From Westlake
The Armory is at 305 Harrison Street, and every stage, workshop and gallery is indoors. The monorail runs the two minutes from Westlake Center; an adult one-way fare is four dollars, card or contactless only. Parking takes planning: the Kraken host the Rangers at Climate Pledge Arena at 2:00 PM that afternoon, and Uptown street parking moves to event rates from noon to 5:00 PM.
