Disney Hall to the Farmers Market, Just Your Group Aboard
A private charter day from Downtown's concert hall to Griffith Observatory and Rodeo Drive, priced for the whole vehicle.
This is the classic first-day loop of Los Angeles, run as a private charter. Nobody rides along except your own party, and the driver is also the guide, in English, French, German or Italian.
As of October 19, 2026, the listing charges USD 1,350 for the vehicle, whether one person rides or twelve. The 2021 reviews describe families with children, three couples traveling together and a women's trip of twelve.

What the booking includes is the ride itself: private transportation, bottled water, onboard Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a big-screen smart TV with Apple TV. Meals are not on that list.

The day starts Downtown, with 45 minutes for Walt Disney Concert Hall, the LA Cathedral and historic Union Station. Next comes an hour at Universal CityWalk, the shops just outside Universal Studios.
The longest stop runs 90 minutes: a drive up the hillside roads for a photo of the Hollywood Sign, then free time on the Griffith Observatory grounds. The driver then drops you at the hotel the listing calls the Montage Beverly Hills, renamed The Maybourne Beverly Hills in 2020, for 45 minutes on Rodeo Drive. Beverly Hills lets tour vans load only at a marked zone beside that hotel, on the 200 block of North Beverly Drive, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The last hour goes to the farmers market the listing calls LA's oldest, and to The Grove shopping district.
Those five stops fill five hours of the day; the driving between them fills the rest.
Griffith Observatory: The Grounds Are the Promise

Griffith is the stop to time. The listing promises self-guided time on the observatory grounds, and the observatory says those are free and generally open from 5:00 AM to 10:30 PM every day. Its getting-here page says no bus, limo or shuttle may park at the observatory at any time, so settle a pickup time with the driver before you step out.
The building keeps shorter hours: noon to 10:00 PM Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM on weekends, closed on Mondays, and also closed on Thanksgiving, November 26, 2026. On a Monday, or before noon on a weekday, the lawn is open while the exhibits and planetarium shows inside are not.
The order can move. One rider wrote in 2021 that the group sent a list of must-sees and the driver built a custom tour around it, and the operator's site says its listed trips can be altered. Ask for Griffith after noon if going inside matters.
How Long the Day Runs
The listing is not consistent about length. Its title, its description and its pickup note all say six hours, while its duration field says 480 minutes, which is eight.
You choose the pickup time and place when you book, and the booking form has a box for special requirements. Put your end time in that box if you have a dinner reservation or an evening flight.
Who Drives, and How Old the Reviews Are
All eight reviews on the listing date from July to December 2021, and every one names the same driver-guide, Serge. The operator's site is signed by its founder, Serge Carlier, a Belgian who writes that he speaks five languages. The same site describes a team of professional driver-guides.
No review is newer than December 2021, and the listing does not say which driver takes a given booking. Public records are newer than the reviews. California's Public Utilities Commission lists the charter permit of Golden Wings Travel Inc., the company behind the operator's site, as active through May 3, 2028, and its federal carrier filing, updated in September 2026, reports 159,602 miles driven in 2024.
The groups in those reviews ranged from a family with children aged 6 to 13 to a women's trip of 12.
The listing ticks the box for all fitness levels. The operator's site says nothing about wheelchair access.
📍 Pickup is at the hotel, home or other spot you name within 25 miles of Santa Monica, and the operator says its vehicles arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled time. Cancel at least 24 hours ahead for a full refund; inside 24 hours, nothing is refunded.
One 2021 rider wrote that there was enough time for lunch at the Farmers Market, which is where the day ends.
