3.8 (13)museum
Trace the evolution of kidney care through vintage machines, from early rotating drums to the 1964 Mini Monster.
Description

Housed within Northwest Kidney Centers’ Burien facility, the space draws on the heritage of the world's first organization with dialysis as its mission, founded in Seattle in 1962. The compact gallery documents treatment breakthroughs with iconic photographs, historical artifacts, and equipment spanning from 1940s devices to home dialysis machines. A Kidney Care Heroes wall honors the field's early pioneers, anchoring a small, information-dense room packed with explanatory exhibits to read and examine.
