📽️ What Runs Monday Night
Motor City Cinema Society returns to its shorts series for a fourth round, with two hours of rare live-action shorts drawn from the society's own archive. No titles are posted for this one yet, which keeps the evening a set of finds rather than a list to study beforehand. The society's own line is that these shorts are not shown together anywhere else.
🎬 Drawn From 600 Films
The archive holds about 600 16mm films, and this program comes out of those cans instead of a distributor catalog. A Monday here reads as a set of discoveries, with odd live-action subjects that rarely share a bill. Everything goes up as 16mm film in the society's intimate room beside the Redford Theatre, with the audience close enough to react as a group.
🚪 Door, Tickets, Arrival
The Screening Room sits at 17352 Lahser Road, next door to the historic Redford Theatre, with doors at 6:30 PM for the 7 PM show. Single tickets are $7.00 each on the society's checkout for this date, and tickets are also sold at the door. A season pass runs $75 for all fifteen fall screenings plus a bag of popcorn. Seating is general admission and tickets are not refundable.
