🖼️ Start at the Still
🎧 Paintings You Can Hear
Saturday, November 7 is Night at the Museums, the free evening of Denver Arts Week. Start around 5 PM at the Clyfford Still Museum, a building made for one abstract painter. In Still in Sound, five sound artists each answered a Still painting with an original composition that now fills the largest galleries, and the show runs through February 14, 2027. The first gallery holds Celebrating 15 Years, which unveils one never-shown Still painting each month for the museum's 15th anniversary.
🚶 Three Museums in Order
The Still and the Denver Art Museum are free all day, 10 AM to 10 PM. Most other museums, including the History Colorado Center, open free from 5 to 10 PM. Around 6 PM, walk about two minutes to the Denver Art Museum, where free general admission covers the Hamilton and Martin buildings and The Kirkland. Register by choosing November 7 on the museum's calendar. DIVA, an exhibition celebrating nearly 100 iconic performers through fashion and stage costumes, is on Level 2 of the Hamilton Building. It is not included and needs its own $15 ticket that day. Around 7:30 PM, walk about five minutes south to the History Colorado Center for more than 15 exhibitions.
🚌 Shuttles and the Last Ride
Free Visit Denver shuttles run from 5 PM. The Denver Art Museum stop also serves the Still. Route E loops from it to Museo de las Americas and the History Colorado Center and back, and Route D links it to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, also free from 5 to 10 PM. The final shuttle routes leave every museum at 10 PM. Plan the last stop with that in mind if your car or hotel is not nearby. The Denver Performing Arts Complex is about a 20-minute walk north, where Disney's Beauty and the Beast closes its Buell Theatre run on November 7.
