Description

Constructed to house the operations of the Denver City Cable Railway Company, the two-story red brick building anchored an urban transit network that ran thirty miles through Denver's business and residential streets by the early 1890s. The cable era proved brief, swiftly displaced by electric streetcars before the city's final cable car ran in 1900. Preserved amid lower downtown's modern glass high-rises, the historic landmark has housed the Old Spaghetti Factory for many years.
