Description
The trails lead past a Korean War memorial and climb through hills and valleys shaded by oak trees, where you might spot white-tail deer. The route winds up toward Ocean Terrace, passing the open clearing originally intended for the unbuilt Richmond Highway. From this high point, the park offers views of the Staten Island Expressway and the wider island landscape.
