Description

A key meeting space during the civil rights movement, the park weaves its century-long community history across a shaded central lawn. Its dome was salvaged from the historic Hill Block Building, while an interactive splash pad features 12 seed-shaped boulders sharing neighborhood stories and images.

The grounds also hold an accessible basketball court renovated in 2023 and an updated playground equipped with sensory play features and adaptive swings. In summer, the lawn hosts free community programming, including concerts, movies, and youth meal programs.
