The band draws inspiration directly from the work of Louis Armstrong, Bix Beiderbecke, Duke Ellington, and Jelly Roll Morton. Now in its 21st year of residency at Birdland, the gig offers a direct connection to early-era traditional jazz, played by a shifting lineup of the city's hot jazz musicians. The show is open to audiences aged 10 and older.
