Description

Started in 2015 on an abandoned state-owned lot, the garden took shape when Dave Dean cleared weeds and planted drought-tolerant succulents to prevent soil run-off, later creating pathways with beach rocks. After a visitor left a painted rock, the space expanded into an interactive community project that provides paint and brushes for visitors to add their own painted rocks. Visitors consistently describe it as an uplifting neighborhood treasure that brings joy to adults and children alike.
