Description

Formerly known as O'Bryant Square, the revamped 0.46-acre plaza reopened in June 2026 following the removal of an aging underground parking garage. The space commemorates Walter Cole—celebrated as the world's oldest performing drag queen and a pillar of Portland's LGBTQ+ community. Paved walking paths link the grounds to a stage designed with ramp access, anchoring a community space that hosts frequent local programming and cultural events in the city center.
