Set at the mouth of the Abashiri River with vistas extending toward the Shiretoko Peninsula, the station gathers regional food and coastal travel under one roof. The second-floor dining room overlooks the water, dishing up local specialties such as Abashiri burgers, zangi rice bowls, and champon noodles. Downstairs vendor stalls offer regional produce, souvenirs, and Rimo’s exclusive mint-and-lemon Drift Ice Soft Serve topped with candy. In winter, the complex doubles as the departure point for Aurora icebreaker cruises into the frozen sea.
