Description

Established in the 1970s, this 1.5-acre green space sits tucked behind a row of tall trees against Seattle’s busy Interstate 5, opening onto beautiful views. Asian immigrant seniors cultivate the plots to grow traditional vegetables, herbs, and flowers, grounding cultural preservation and neighborhood connection in the soil. Beyond the garden beds and an orchard of 63 fruit trees, the grounds include a children's garden, a chicken coop, and an outdoor kitchen.
