Dance on an Aerial Anchor Over Biscayne Bay, Video Included

Three hours of aerial dance staged from a sailboat at anchor on Biscayne Bay, with a coach on board and the raw footage yours to keep.

Aerials Over Water starts this session at 5:00 PM every day from the US Sailing Center in Coconut Grove, the one departure on the listing. From the marina you are taken out to a sailboat held stationary at anchor, which the listing says is for safety and room to move on the apparatus. For three hours the aerial apparatus hangs over the water from that boat, a coach is on board, and the session is filmed. The raw footage is yours, handed over by AirDrop after the session or sent as an iCloud link to download later.

The listing's activity notes and the operator's own site both set a minimum of five participants per session date. Five is also the most one booking takes, so a party of five is the one booking certain to meet that minimum. The listing pitches it to first-timers and practiced aerialists alike.

Every age band pays the same per-person price on the listing, which sells places from age 3 and requires at least one adult on each booking. The listing's activity notes give a narrower range, ages 6 to 75, while the operator's own site says any age is welcome. If anyone in your party is under 6 or over 75, say so in the booking's special-requirements field. Snacks and drinks are included and may run to protein bars, chips, water, sodas and sandwiches.

The Anchor, the Umbrella and the Net, Then One More

Every session on this listing features the same three signature apparatuses: an Aerial Anchor, an Aerial Umbrella and an Aerial Net. One traveler's review carries the title "I loved the umbrella."

Each group then adds a fourth piece of its own choosing, from a flying pole, a flying lollipop, silks, a moon lyra, a lyra, a trapeze or a bungee. There is one pick per group. Agree on it before you arrive if several of you have a favorite. The listing's activity notes also let you swap out any of the three included pieces.

Pack Two or Three Changes of Clothes

The listing asks each person to bring their own bag with two or three changes of clothes for the shoot. Those outfits are for the camera, but plan to keep one dry set for the ride home: in many of the operator's photos, the aerialist is knee-deep or waist-deep in the bay.

The listing's activity notes name two resident mascots on board, a dog and a parrot, for petting or for pictures. Service animals are allowed.

A Coach for First-Timers, With Two Health Caveats

The coach is included. One review from August 2026 describes the coach "guiding my movements and showing me how to position my body," which is the help a first-timer is paying for.

The listing marks the session as not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries or poor cardiovascular health. Guides work in English and Spanish.

Light Rain Keeps It Running, Thunderstorms Do Not

The operator still runs the session in light drizzle or a short shower, but not in a dangerous thunderstorm. Its own site adds that sessions take place from a boat, on a bay or at a beach location, depending on conditions and availability. The listing also allows the operator to cancel for bad weather or for too few travelers.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the 5:00 PM start for a full refund. Inside 24 hours, nothing is refunded.
