Mission Weekend Stops
Erie Street Opening Act
Public Works puts a dance floor at the start of your evening in the Mission District. Entry is limited to guests aged 21 and older. The venue spans two stories, with bars on both floors. Join the crowd below, or take in the main room from the upper mezzanine. Programming includes electronic DJs and indie bands. Check the listing for your chosen night before making this your first stop.

Mission District Nightcap
ABV brings craft cocktails and small plates to a narrow, dimly lit room on 16th Street. Bartenders take time to explain their drinks. Pair a glass with crispy fried cauliflower or soft shell crab tacos. Larger parties can use the semi-private upstairs space, which has a private bar and dedicated bartender. Regular hours run until 2:00 AM daily. Check holiday hours before planning a Thanksgiving weekend visit.

A Change of Tempo
Public Works and ABV give this Mission District pairing two different centers of attention. At the first, electronic DJs, indie bands and dancing draw focus toward the main room, with a mezzanine above. At the second, bartenders explain craft cocktails in a narrow, dimly lit setting, with small plates alongside the drinks. The contrast is between a shared performance and attention to the glass, linking music and cocktail craft through two distinct kinds of neighborhood gathering.
