Description

Spanning 1.5 acres in Midtown East near the United Nations, the park serves as a gateway to the Nations. Original sycamore trees shade the plaza, which features fountains, a sculpture platform, and Dag's Patio Cafe. The grounds stretch from the Oasis on First Avenue to Second Avenue, with plenty of public benches that offer a place to rest despite ongoing construction. Visitors also note its role as a King landmark in Mid-World, complete with a turtle sculpture.
