4.7 (176)park
A neighborhood gathering spot anchored by a 50-meter summer pool, jogging paths, and ponds teeming with waterfowl.
Description

Purchased in 1931 and named for former mayor H. J. Curtis, the grounds serve as a central gathering place in University Park. Beyond its main swim lanes, the Holmes Aquatic Center offers 1-meter and 3-meter diving boards alongside a shaded wading pool. Across the lawn, amenities range from a double tennis court and athletic fields to picnic grills and an ADA-compliant playground with artificial turf, with Turtle Creek's ponds keeping fish in the mix alongside resident waterfowl.
