Description

Beyond the lot, the trail winds past lively streams, wetlands, and waterfalls roughly 20 minutes northwest of Nashville. An initial paved stretch gives way to packed gravel as the route heads toward the Cheatham Lake Right Bank Recreation Area. The grade stays relatively flat and easy, though bumpy pavement, tree roots, and rough gravel require some care along the way. Water views through the tree line open up most clearly during spring and fall when the branches are bare.
