Cultivate South Phoenix

Part of the Spaces of Opportunity initiative, the grounds centre on community agriculture and food access in South Phoenix. Visitors can wander an educational Desert Botanical Garden demonstration garden, join in garden activities, or rent space to grow their own produce. Crops are fed by SRP lake water irrigation delivered on a modest schedule, and the on-site market supports neighbourhood food access by accepting WIC checks and TANF cards.
