Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden
4.8 (2,623)park
Wooden bridges and paved paths wind past rare rhododendrons, spring-fed streams, and ponds alive with waterfowl.
Description

Set across seven to nine acres on a peninsula, the grounds cultivate thousands of specimens where companion trees, shrubs, and azaleas produce vibrant seasonal color displays. The surrounding water draws a steady presence of ducks, geese, and blue herons. The park is managed through a non-profit partnership between Portland Parks & Recreation and the Portland Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society, with admissions, passes, and shop purchases channeled directly back into the garden's upkeep.
