Description
Rising from 150 to 800 feet, the 2,124-acre park extends sightlines toward Mount Tamalpais and Mount Diablo. Multi-purpose routes, including a 4.5-mile segment of the Bay Area Ridge Trail, wind through wooded ravines, canyon lookouts, and eucalyptus-shaded meadows. Traces of its nineteenth-century ranching era also linger on the ground: an original barn, milk-house, and corrals can still be seen around the Crockett Ranch staging and picnic area.
