Crimson Cocktails and Live Jazz in the East Village
Sip reimagined classics while music hums through an intimate Manhattan back room built for slow evenings.
🍸 A Quiet Cocktail Hideaway
Room 207 gives the East Village a quiet cocktail hideaway with a Prohibition era point of view. Sahil Essani helms the bar, while Rajesh Bhardwaj and Hemant Pathak bring the concept from the team behind Junoon. The program centers on reimagined classics, including an Old Fashioned and a Bee's Knees sweetened with local honey.
The mood stays intimate, with live jazz adding a low hum to the night and a speakeasy spirit shaping the room. Bar food is limited, while the main restaurant offers expanded menu options for diners who want more than a drink. Hospitality is meant to feel like gathering with friends, keeping the focus on the pour and the music.
Plan it for Monday or Tuesday from 5 PM to 11 PM, Wednesday or Thursday from 5 PM to midnight, or Friday and Saturday from 5 PM to half past one AM. Sunday is closed. Find it in the back room at 207 2nd Ave.
