The bar takes its name from Peter Crawford, an early landowner whose surname replaced 40th Avenue in 1913—a nod chosen by owners who grew up locally to anchor the spot in Avondale history. Beyond the heavy rotation of domestic and imported pours, the drink options include rosé wine on tap. From the kitchen, a menu of burgers, sandwiches, appetizers, and salads is built for either dine-in or carryout.
