Footlight Underground at the Windjammer divides a Ridgewood night between a cozy front bar and an intimate back entertainment venue. Settle into the bar for craft cocktails, then turn your attention to the stage, where careful room dampening supports the sound of live music at 552 Grandview Avenue.
The programming stretches to comedy shows and open mics, along with pub trivia and community events. Laura Bridget Regan is the owner and operator of the space, while Tim Shea is the resident visual artist who also curates the zine called The Footlighter. Entry is restricted to guests aged 21 and over.
Opening hours are Monday from 9 PM to 11 PM, Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday from 7 PM to 10 AM the following morning, and Thursday through Saturday from half past eight PM to half past eleven AM the following morning.
