Description

The downtown Kirkland landmark centers on an unexpected pairing: a statue of a cow and a coyote set right along the sidewalk. It makes for an easy curbside encounter that looks nice walking past, even if catching the odd duo up close strikes some as a little weird. Unconventional as the scene is, the sculpture has settled into an enduring neighborhood fixture that observers can hardly imagine downtown without.
